Title : Offshore Installation & Wind Power
Content: A lecture on installation and operation projects worldwide in the maritime market, the Oil & Gas sector and the offshore wind business. Not only the transportation and actual deployment, but also the decommissioning of facilities. It covers jackets, topsides, pipelines, flexibles, power cables, monopiles, Wind Turbines at shallow water, but also large gravity anchor blocks for a suspended plastic pipeline at deep water (>1000 m).

Erik Zijlstra started working in 1996 with Heerema and continued working for Offshore Installation contractors until 2016, when he turned freelancer in the Offshore Wind Industry. Since July 2018 he has works for the Canadian Enbrige, owner of 3 GW onshore wind in USA and Canada and the shareholder in the UK Rampion (operational), the German Hohe See and Albatros (both under construction) and French St. Nazaire, Fecamp and Courseulles (all 3 under development) OWF.
